The National Museum of Games The Strong in New York since 2015 annually introduces interactive entertainment to its glory, which significantly influenced the video game industry, popular culture or society as a whole. In 2020, four participants entered there.
There were 12 finalists in total, covering several decades, countries and game platforms. Journalists, researchers and other persons who are familiar with the history of video games and their role in society were engaged in selection.
